Longview Border Crossers Minutes
January 10, 2012
The Meeting was called to order by Pres. Sam Korff at 6:30 p.m.
Members present: Sylvia Aldrich, Vicki Carter, Shirley White, Carolyn Bruce, Carol and Jim McGinley, Ron and Pat Schauer, Mary and Carl Roy, Sam and Martha Korff,
Kay Lockwood, and Emily Carlton
Minutes: Read and Approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
Earth Day 2012: Ron will find out the date. It is usually the 3rd Sat of
April. Last year we got three new walkers from the exposure at the
event.
Rainier Walk: Seven people walked last Wed. The
first half is along the water for a nice view and then some hilly area. Sam
spoke about the Best New Walk he is sponsoring for the NW Region.
He is still determining the criteria for judging and the award.
Super Bowl Party: VP Martha is in charge. Party to start at 2 p.m. on Feb. 5 and will be potluck. Several members will be out of town. Martha is making a list of items
members volunteered to bring. Any further questions call Martha: 509-728-0400.
Name tags: New ones passed out to new members.
